Rulah needs lots more new equipment for her shop, located in the Tribal Grounds, as more warriors reach new levels of cannibal killing!
So here's the deal...

Come up with some original names and descriptions for rings, amulets, gloves, helms, cloaks, and boots, that fit in with the Lyrean theme, which is a 10th century, rain forest setting, and if your idea is used, you will be given the resulting equipment for two weeks! (winners who have the required number of CKKs to qualify for the equipment they submit will be permanently gifted one item if three or more of their submissions are winners in a given month)
The descriptions need not be perfect. They will be modified as needed, but the more detail, the better! **Remember to include what the items DO/how they are useful to the owner in battle.** The stats are already set, so no need to worry about those either.
So, do some research. Learn about the flora and fauna of tropical climes, and maybe brush up on ancient religions of rain foresty areas, and put your imaginations to work!
Making up totally fictitious religions, heroes, mythical entities, animals, plants and such is completely legit too, just as long as its believable!
Remember, these will ALL be items rated for 3000 or more CKKs, so a piece of prize equipment will give you not only some amazing stat boosts, but a glimpse of what will be available to you at higher CKK levels.

Signet Series - Visit the Antiquities Cart in the village and see what's happening there. Fun adventures await you! (Please note: this module has images and may not co-operate with JAWS programs. If you are using JAWS, please enter at your own risk.)

Currently disabled due to glitches - Coming Soon: Additional Rooms - Visit the Interior Designer in the village, and decorate your abode!

And be sure to keep your eyes open in the jungle for new critters, a bobcat, time-warps, and l33t speak!

Just a heads up since it isn't as self explanatory as rational thinking may suggest...

It is true that bringing drama to the site, lying to the staff or trying to play us are not listed in the rules, but they are really a few of those things that just should be a given.
Since it seems that many do not see it as a given, I will make it very clear.
If you lie to us; If you try to find sneaky ways around the rules; if you try to play us, or go to a different staff person instead to get what another wouldn't allow you... Basically, if you try to pull any sort of BS here on Lyrean, we WILL catch you, and you WILL receive consequences for it.
The same is true of brining or causing drama. Unless it is pretend drama for the sake of story lines, for fun (fun for everyone, not just fun for drama kings/queens), then we don't want it here.
We don't care what someone said or did to you in real life, IM, email, on the moon, or WTF ever. We care about what happens on this site. Keep your personal BS personal and don't bring it here.
If you harass another player here, no matter what they allegedly did to you elsewhere, you will be punished. Period. We do not want IM or chat logs from anywhere else to "prove" how mean they were and why you were justified. Break the rules here = get punished here. It's that simple!

Even if you obey the letter of the rules, if it becomes obvious that you are trying to start shit with another player(s), you will be muted and/or banned as well. So don't do it.

Bottom line:
Play nice, don't be a butthole, and don't try to get away with anything, or risk muting or banning.

First off, before announcing last month's contest winners, I'd like to introduce a very special set of equipment, which will be available to players reaching 5000+ CKKs.

You'll have to get to the required levels to see the descriptions and stats, but here is a little sneak preview of the set!

5000 CKKs - Malebolge Ring

5100 CKKs - Amulet of Grabacr

5200 CKKs - Ghiacciaio Cloak

5300 CKKs - SUPERNOVA Helm

5400 CKKs - Gamebreaker Gauntlets

5500 CKKs - Berkut Boots

Rulah needs lots more new equipment for her shop, located in the Tribal Grounds, as more warriors reach new levels of cannibal killing!
So here's the deal...

Come up with some original names and descriptions for rings, amulets, gloves, helms, cloaks, and boots, that fit in with the Lyrean theme, which is a 10th century, rain forest setting, and if your idea is used, you will be given the resulting equipment for two weeks!
 The descriptions need not be perfect. They will be brushed up as needed, but the more detail, the better! **Remember to include what the items DO/how they are useful to the owner in battle.**
So, do some research. Learn about the flora and fauna of tropical climes, and maybe brush up on ancient religions of rain foresty areas, and put your imaginations to work!
Making up totally fictitious animals and plants and such is completely legit too, just as long as its believable!
Remember, these will ALL be items rated for 3000 or more CKKs, so a piece of prize equipment will give you not only some amazing stat boosts, but a glimpse of what will be available to you at higher CKK levels.

Today we had an OOC blow up in the village. While I think I have deleted the OOC parts, some fragments may remain.

Why am I bring this to your attention? Because one of the people involved apparently became so upset that she directed some hate speech at another player. We don't tolerate hate speech, at all, and the offender was punished accordingly.

In the future, remember that this is just a game. If what is going on in-game is causing your out-of-game grief and anger, I suggest that you take a break to calm down and remember that nothing on here should be taken personally. In addition, nothing on here should be directed at another player as a personal attack. It's uncalled for, unneeded, and simply unacceptable.

Please remember to clear messages out of your YoM box after you've read them. Especially if you're having an ongoing conversation.

If you need to save a message, copy and paste it into a text file on your computer. That way you have it for reference when you need it.

We, the staff, do clear out messages from time to time, without warning. We do this because there are too many read messages sitting in people's YoM boxes. We've noticed when there are too many read YoMs, the site slows down and does weird things.
